Abstract

This article is a practical part of an informatics teacher’s competency modulation, analyzing and shaping a set of essential competencies used in computer education. The article discusses a model for enhancing a teacher’s personal competencies in teaching through virtual technology. The main objective of this model is to teach the reuse of information technology, improve the relationships between students and teachers, and promote the use of effective teaching methods. The article also identifies which virtual technologies should be used to develop a teacher’s personal abilities. These technologies include hidden cameras, video conferencing systems, online teaching platforms, interactive textbooks, and others. Additionally, the article highlights the measures that should be taken to develop a teacher’s personal competencies, such as individual and group learning, participation in news and events, engaging in other activities with students, and promoting cooperation among teachers. In this article, the significance of a model for enhancing an informatics teacher’s personal competencies through virtual technology is discussed, along with how it should be implemented.
