The Communicative-Active approach is an approach to language teaching that emphasizes communication and activeness as the primary goal of language learning. It emphasizes the use of language in real-life situations and seeks to develop learners’ communicative competence, which involves not only knowledge of grammatical rules and vocabulary but also the ability to use language in context to achieve communicative goals. Based on this point of view, in this article we aimed to point out its role in developing the strategic competence of students, and suggest innovative methods.
