Abstract

The article highlights the importance of analyzing poetic texts in the formation of students’ pragmatic competence in the classes of mother language and reading literacy. The sample of analysis of the types, principles, and principles of the analysis of a poetic work in elementary grades is described. Methods of analyzing poetic texts are shown and examples of tasks related to the formation of pragmatic competence are given.
