Abstract

Preparing students of general education schools for work in their future profession is an important part of the educational process in the vocational education system. Their professional education is carried out in the course of theoretical vocational education and practical vocational education, in addition to teaching general education subjects. In this way, students develop a wide range of competencies that they can use in their future profession. Dual education system is used as an effective way of organizing the educational process in the process of vocational training of students, which systematically prepares students for future professions in a real business environment. Pupils are being educated as future employees, their specialization is being formed. In this sense, the main role of pedagogues’ competencies can be recognized. Thus, it is necessary to develop the competencies not only of teachers working in schools, but also of instructors, lecturers, trainers and other interested persons in departments of economic practice. Currently, the elements of the dual education system are being integrated into teaching in secondary vocational schools in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the first legislative measures are being prepared to allow the return of the dual education system to schools. In other countries such as Germany, Finland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus or even Slovakia, the concept of a dual education system is already part of the education system, so the experience of these countries can be used for inspiration. Therefore, we focus on the comparative analysis of the dual education system, focusing on the competencies of teachers.
