This article explores the individual psychological characteristics of an athlete’s activity and the aspects of an athlete’s pre-competition mental state that depend on his success in various previous competitions, and also conducts observations about the dependence of the athlete on the state of preparation for the competition on the effectiveness of the nervous system. In this study, we studied the psychological characteristics of the athlete’s pre-competition condition in preparation for the competition.
