In this article, the professional activity of a psychologist in modern psychology and the opinions of psychologists in scientific research are given. In addition, the importance of professional activity and professional competence today, mathematical competence of practicing psychologists, self-awareness and self-esteem of a person are highlighted. Also, the professional competence of practicing school psychologists is revealed by the mathematical and statistical results of various psychologists.
