Psychodiagnostic competencies are very important for teachers, especially elementary school teachers, to identify and solve various psychological needs and problems of young students. In this article, the formation of psychodiagnostic competencies of primary school teachers is considered through a comprehensive review of available literature and practical results. It emphasizes the importance of integrating psychodiagnostic training into teacher education programs and suggests strategies for enhancing these competencies to support the holistic development of children in educational settings.
