This article is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations of the formation of social and cultural competence in students of the graduating class based on the gender approach. Sociocultural competence is a person’s ability to function successfully in various social and cultural contexts, to communicate effectively, and to establish relationships with others, which includes social skills, cultural awareness, and intercultural communication.
