Abstract. Teaching Russian as a foreign language is constantly evolving from traditional methods to modern innovations based on action or communicative language learning. This development has arisen as a result of students’ needs for innovation and technology. Especially in the last decade, there has been an increase in interest in teaching foreign languages. This study emphasized that Russian as a foreign language should be taught to students and schoolchildren through games in the classroom.
