The article provides information on raising children in the spirit of patriotism from preschool age. The role of the family, school and teacher in the upbringing of a patriot of their homeland. Development of the need to work conscientiously for the good of the Motherland and readiness to defend their Fatherland with dignity and honor. Also indicated is the role in patriotic education of the study of the exploits of the heroes of the past.
