The article is devoted to the use of «Plasticine» technology in teaching literacy. There are analyzed the issues of the emergence and application of plasticinography. In the article it is paid attention to the features of the plasticine modeling technique, thanks to which children develop sensorimotor skills, artistic taste, individuality, intuition, organization, accuracy, discipline, as well as the ability to design the results of their creative work. Also it is considered the impact of this technology on primary school pupils.
