Abstract

The article is devoted to the situation in the Fergana region, on June 25, 1916, Emperor Nicholas II issued a decree on the Highest command «On conscription for rear work.» In connection with this, riots began in Turkestan. Because before that, taxes were paid for liberation from armies. But at the direction of the Highest command, all men from the age of 19 to 43 had to work behind the front. Builds a building for the front. According to the instructions, the Fergana region was to send 50,000 people. As was the case in all of Turkestan, the people of the Fergana region were also unhappy with this. And riots began throughout the valley. By studying archival documents, we can see that there were riots in the Valley of 29 places, but they were all suppressed.
