Abstract

In the introduction to this article, a brief description of English Proverbs is given, which works have reached us through, what properties of them are manifested and the opinions of scientists are touched upon. In the following part, anthropocentric proverbs were described and examples were given, one main textbook in school, college and higher education was taken into analysis and the place and amount of anthropocentric proverbs in English educational textbooks were covered.
