This article discusses the main goal of the work of a psychologist with victims of violence is to reduce and eliminate the consequences of traumatic experiences. In the process of counseling such children, it is extremely important for the psychologist to establish contact with the child, and the emphasis should be on the constant demonstration of concern for the child.
