Abstract

This article explains some of the reasons and criteria for using games when teaching foreign languages (in particular, English). It will also talk about the importance of games and show the benefits of learning English through games. Educational games help to create a positive atmosphere and increase students’ confidence, allowing them to speak freely. There are many games for learning a foreign language, not all of which are useful. The games are not only intended for entertainment, but should also help to engage students and learn how to use the language.
