Abstract

This article methodically analyzes imitative words and sounds, and also provides information about their artistic and expressive features in the English and Uzbek languages. The article presents an analysis of the forms of imitative words and sounds used and gives insights into their artistic and expressive features. In English, imitative words and sounds are used as creative means of expression in the language of the writer, and also in Uzbek, they play an important role in expressing the spiritual connection of a person.
