TEACHING BASED ON COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACHES IN THE SUBJECT OF METROLOGY, STANDARDIZATION AND CERTIFICATION

Abstract
This article analyzes the methodology of teaching metrology,
standardization and certification based on competency-based approaches and its
final results. Today, much attention is paid to the use of interactive methods in the
educational process, and these methods are justified by the fact that they are more
effective than traditional teaching. There are many types of interactive techniques
that can be used to help students master a subject. Especially in higher education
today, where the bulk of the subjects in the workload is independent teaching, there is
no effective system for teachers to take into account the organization of independent
teaching, supervision and assessment. The existing systems for organizing and
assessing independent learning do not meet today’s requirements. Therefore, the
article discusses a system of non-traditional organization of self-study in the subjects
of metrology, standardization and certification, one of the special disciplines of higher
education, using interactive methods.
