This article examines the conceptual and terminological framework of the present study, it should be noted that scholarly literature frequently employs two concepts that may mistakenly be treated as synonymous: “writing” and “written speech”, and the paper deals with the analysis of proficiency level from A1 to C2, specific descriptors. Differentiating between these concepts is essential for specifying the objectives of contemporary foreign language education, since their apparent similarity conceals fundamentally different types of cognitive and communicative activity.
