Abstract
The article deals with time and space in the work of Russian
science fiction writers of the 20th century. The name of Robert Sheckley, one of the
outstanding science fiction writers of the 20th century, is well known to foreign and
domestic readers along with the names of Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov, whose
works are examples of science fiction prose. The beginning of literary activity and
the heyday of their work fell on the 50-60s of the XX century, which are rightfully
considered the «golden age» of American science fiction.
