Abstract

 

This article provides an understanding of the importance of the criteria by which students are evaluated in higher education institutions and how they play a role in improving the learning process and student learning. The concept of the goals of the evaluation process is also discussed, and an example of a standard evaluation process is given. A brief overview of assessment systems is given, and the advantages and disadvantages of normbased and criteria-based structures are described in detail.
